After working 12 years in marketing, I returned to school and achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. I graduated from the Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 – truly one of the happiest days of my life! I feel privileged that every day I can care for pets that bring so much joy to people’s lives. To aid the community, I volunteer with local shelters, and rescue groups. I practice compassionate medicine and care deeply for my patients and their pet parents. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!
I worked as a medical director and associate veterinarian in Nevada for several years before finding my new home here in Lewisville. I attended West Virginia University where I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in 2001 and received my DVM degree from Tuskegee University in 2006.
My professional interests include nutrition, internal medicine, oncology, pediatrics, and geriatrics. I subscribe to the adage “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” I value restorative and preventative medicine as a means to enhance longevity and improve quality of life.
Outside of work, I am happily married and enjoy spending time with my family and pets. My hobbies include writing, nature, and travel.
I look forward to meeting you and your pet very soon!
I have always had a love for animals and wanted to make a positive difference in their lives. At the age of four, I chose my veterinary career path and never once second guessed this decision. I attended Kansas State University for both my undergraduate and professional studies and in May of 2002, received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, I moved to Ohio where I worked as an associate veterinarian at a high quality practice. Wanting to be closer to family, I relocated to the North Texas area in 2004 and have been here since.
I am a very compassionate and dedicated veterinarian and a member of the local, state, and national veterinary medical associations. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine but have a special interest in preventive and geriatric medicine.
When not at Vetsavers Pet Hospital, I enjoy family time with my wife (who is also a veterinarian) and son. My recreational activities include hiking, camping, and caring for our menagerie of pets.
In 2007, I graduated from Chonnam National University, South Korea with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. I received my veterinary license to practice in the United States in 2013, and worked for a small animal hospital in Seattle, WA. until moving to the wonderful Lone Star State.
I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but I especially enjoy internal medicine and surgery. I truly love what I do and feel privileged to care for all the sweet furry patients. In addition to traditional veterinary medicine, I am also a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist (CVMA). I achieved my CVMA certificate in 2013 and enjoy helping many pets enjoy better quality of life through safe and effective pain control.
In my free time, I love playing with my dogs and cats, biking, swimming and traveling.
I am very eager to meet you and your fur babies at Vetsavers Pet Hospital!
I was born and raised in a very small town in Sweden and grew up with dogs, cats, goats and horses. I was always fascinated with American culture so I moved to the U.S. after high school for my undergraduate degree, and then returned to Europe for veterinary school a few years later. I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine, Budapest with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2017. After graduation I completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Graduates (ECFVG) and received my American veterinary license in 2019. I love all animals but have a special place in my heart for cats and dogs. I have a 9-year-old Ragdoll cat named Cocos who you might have seen roaming around the clinic or napping on the bookshelves. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, but my special interests are preventative and internal medicine.
I feel very fortunate to be part of the Vetsavers team and I am so excited to meet you and your pet. I look forward to taking care of your pets with compassion, dedication and a whole lot of love.
My professional interests include internal medicine, especially neurology and endocrinology. My favorite animals are my dog, Summer, and my cat, Mochi. In my free time, I like do tabletop and board gaming, and learning new skills.
I’m excited to meet you and your pet, and I can’t wait to care for them at Vetsavers!
I am passionate about educating clients and I’m interested in internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. I always thought I was a dog person until I got a cat (and then a second one) in college! My wife and I have two dogs, Ryder and Bonnie, and two cats, Ollie and Tonks.
In my free time I like all things sci-fi and fantasy, and enjoy reading, playing video games, board games, volleyball, and skiing.
I’m excited to join the Vetsavers Pet Hospital team and I can’t wait to meet you and help care for your pets!
Growing up in a family full of animal lovers it is no surprise I chose helping pets as my life long profession. I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for over 20 years and have been in a management position for about 10 years. I truly can’t imagine doing any other job.
When I am not working, I spend most of my time with my animals, I have 3 dogs and 2 cats along with a variety of freshwater fish. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, gardening, music and baseball. Go Rangers!!
I look forward to meeting you and your pets during your visit to Vetsavers.
After graduating from Coppell High School, I received my Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from McLennan Community College and in May 2019, I will be graduating with my Bachelors of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Tarleton State University. At home, I love spending time with my family and my three dogs. I enjoy cuddling up and watching movies with my Labrador Vizsla Mix Milo, Border Collie Whippet Mix Charlie, and Shih Tzu Bella. I am blessed to be a part of the Vetsavers Pet Hospital family. It is awesome to know people who care deeply about animals as much as you do.
I have lived in Carrollton all my life. I have been married for 20 years to an amazing man & we have 3 wonderful children. I have 2 dogs and about 40 salt-water fish. My next pets will hopefully be a pair of guinea pigs. We are a busy family with 3 children that are all involved in sports or scouts. I have to say watching my daughters play softball is extremely thrilling for me. I also enjoy reading, gardening & spending time with my family.
I feel so blessed & fortunate to be a part of the Vetsavers Pet Hospital team. It is truly wonderful to know that the people I work with care so deeply about animals. I find it greatly rewarding to know how many animals that have been helped by our hospital. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of this team.
